Hi there! I’m a red-haired author with a heart full of stories and a soul that belongs at the beach. I’m happiest with sand between my toes, sunshine on my face, and a notebook nearby to catch the magic. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me in my flower garden, surrounded by blooms and bumblebees, chasing joy in every color—but especially purple. Life is a little brighter with a good book, a sea breeze, and a splash of creativity!
My Writing Life
I’ve always believed that stories have a rhythm all their own—like waves washing over a shoreline, or petals unfolding in the morning sun. Writing isn’t just what I do—it’s how I breathe, how I explore, how I connect.
My writing life is a joyful tangle of notebooks, half-sipped coffee, and characters who like to speak up at the most inconvenient times. I write with my heart wide open and my imagination running wild, often with a cat on my lap or the ocean whispering just outside my window (real or imagined—both work).
I’m drawn to stories that shimmer with hope, mischief, and just a touch of magic. Whether it’s a tale set in a faraway world or one rooted in the quiet beauty of everyday life, I’m always chasing that feeling—that spark that says, “this is it.”
Here, you’ll find the heartbeats behind my books, the musings that spark them, and maybe a few garden metaphors I couldn’t resist. Because to me, writing is like planting—every word a seed, every story a bloom.
Why I Write About Joy
I write about joy because the world needs more of it—tiny sparks, quiet moments, loud laughter, unexpected magic. Not the kind that ignores hardship, but the kind that holds your hand through it. The kind that whispers, “Look, beauty still lives here.”
Joy, to me, is revolutionary. It’s found in a flower blooming despite the storm, in a character choosing hope when it’s hard, in a story that leaves you a little lighter than it found you. I believe in joy as both a balm and a beacon—and in writing stories that remind us it’s always worth looking for.
My pages are filled with wonder, warmth, and wildly imperfect people trying their best—just like the rest of us. If my words offer even a flicker of comfort, laughter, or light, then I’ve done what I came here to do.
“I write to plant joy like wildflowers—everywhere, for anyone who needs it.”
